Nei Kung pedagogy is extremely gentle and non-violent, safely and jointly developing the martial skills and physical and psychological capacity of each practitioner.

WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES?

– Development of balance and aesthetics of movement, coordination through katas or forms (set of harmonic movements that simulate movements used in combat). – Promoting human education and training. Emphasizing moral values, discipline, concentration, attention, memory and overcoming difficulties. – Facing fear through courage, pride through humility, aggression through self-control.

ORIGIN

Nei Kung is a martial art with deep philosophical roots, founded by master Michel Echenique in the 80’s. It was developed through the practice and teachings of the founder and his students in Brazil. Today there are more than 15 countries in the world. Strongly grounded in traditional Chinese martial arts principles. In this case, Nei Kung is a martial art that rescues concepts from the Taoist tradition by applying the principles of the I CHING – The Book of Mutations in techniques, such as: a) the polarity of the Yin and Yang energies and their dynamic balance and permanent mutations. b) the principles of these fundamental mutations present in Nature – The 8 Trigrams in Nei Kung associated with Techniques I. c) the relationship with the practitioner’s 3 energy centers (Center 3 – belly), (Center 2 – Heart), (Center 1 – Head).

WHY NEI KUNG?

Today, more than ever, children, youth and adults live under a high level of stress, which increases their level of aggression, insecurity and fear. NEI KUNG works precisely on these points, developing self-confidence and self-control, providing the practitioner with a feeling of well-being and happiness in his life.

WHAT IS THE BASIC SCRIPT OF A CLASS?

– Starts with a brief warm-up of joints and muscles.

– The second aspect concerns the practice of concentration/meditation to start the practice itself and make the most of the teachings.

– Breathing – used to intersperse the other practices and exercises, as a form of dynamic rest.

– Follow with technical exercises (various strokes) stopped in formation (rows and columns) or in round (movement walking in a circle). Rolling, dodging, moving the masses and balancing the different regions of the body (legs, hips, lower and upper trunk, arms and head).

– Rhythm and coordination work. These are practices that combine defenses and attacks with alternating arms and legs.

– Practices in pairs – development of combined techniques of attack and defense, dodges, projections and immobilizations.

– Forms (set of harmonic movements that simulate movements used in combat).

– Fights. Fights combined with a special pedagogy that teaches during the time of practice to fight in an unconditioned way, free from fear, anxiety, tensions.

– The release of fear, anxiety and aggression, gives an incredible sense of freedom and joy and inner peace.
